About Me

Hello, my name is Silas Scholz, and I am a Software Developer with a passion for creating innovative solutions. I am currently studying Business Informatics at FOM Düsseldorf, which provides me with a solid foundation in both business and IT.

My journey into software development began with native app development, particularly with React Native. Through this, I gained valuable experience working with AWS (Amazon Web Services). During my studies, I also learned several programming languages, including PHP, Python, Java, and C.

Currently, I work as a Fullstack Developer, primarily focusing on modern technologies such as React and Node.js to build efficient and user-friendly applications. I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to further expand my knowledge and skills.

Music is a big part of my life.

As Daylio, I'm exploring my creativity through singing (my main focus), piano, and guitar. I love expressing myself musically and am excited to share my journey as I grow as an artist.

When I'm not coding or making music, you can find me working on cars or experimenting with new development tools and frameworks.

For this project, I started the native app as a contractor. I built it using React Native. Notably, I was responsible only for developing the app and was not involved in the backend. My involvement with the project ended after the initial contract was fulfilled.

I was heavily involved in this project. During the COVID-19 pandemic, physical meetings were not possible, and WhatsApp Business was not widely adopted by most proWin merchants. Therefore, we developed this app to facilitate meetings through a dedicated messenger platform.

Prequalification in Healthcare

React Stripe MariaDB Redux Prisma Docker NodeJS S3 Storage Postal

This is my latest creation and my first full-stack project. It introduced me to many new areas, including software architecture, software engineering, storing images in an S3 bucket, and setting up a Postal server for automatic email sending. It also involved security, GDPR compliance, generating XML and PDF files systematically, billing via Stripe, and more. Overall, this project has been my biggest learning experience!

I'm a beginning artist exploring the world of music as Daylio. My main focus is singing, but I also play piano and guitar. I'm passionate about expressing myself through music and excited to share my progress as I grow as an artist.
